Also, you can use your dictionary. Read the description of To The Lighthouse from (da) the back cover (contracapa) of one of its editions (edições) and choose (escolha) the option (opção) that completes the sentences (a frase) in the items (dos ítens) that follow (que seguem). 

To The Lighthouse (Farol)

The simple and haunting story (história assustadora) captures (captura) the transience (transitoriedade) of life (da vida) and its surrounding (circudante) emotions.
